Ground veal is a lean and flavourful protein that pairs with melted Le Migneron de Charlevoix cheese and meaty mushrooms.

Ingredients


  • 1 package POM® Rustic Buns (6)
  • 1 1/2 lb (750 g) ground veal
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) water
  • 6 oz (170 g) Le Migneron de Charlevoix cheese, sliced
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup (250 mL) sautéed wild mushrooms
  • 2 cups (500 mL) arugula

Directions


Mix ground veal with breadcrumbs, egg and water until combined. Divide into 6 balls and shape into 1-inch (2.5 cm) patties.

Grill patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side or until grill-marked and cooked through. Top with cheese and grill for 1 more minute or until cheese is melted. Meanwhile, grill buns for 1 minute or until toasted.

Assemble burger in buns with mustard, mushrooms and arugula.
