This deluxe burger with Montreal-style smoked brisket and Camembert cheese is satisfying summer fare.

  • 4 POM® Le Gros Hamburger Buns
  • 4 premium hamburger patties
  • 4 slices Camembert cheese (3 oz/90 g)
  • 8 thin slices Montreal smoked meat
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) mustard


Preheat grill; grease grill well. Grill hamburgers according to package directions; top with 2 slices of Camembert during the last minute of cooking.

Meanwhile, wrap smoked meat in heavy-duty foil. Grill for 8 to 10 minutes over medium heat or until heated through. Meanwhile, grill buns for 30 to 60 seconds per side or until lightly toasted.

Assemble burgers in buns with smoked meat, lettuce and mustard.

Tip: Add grilled onions to the burger if desired.
