Creamy mascarpone cheese, espresso and chocolate combine in this decadent bagel treat.

  • 1 POM® Whole Wheat Bagel, halved
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) honey
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) espresso powder
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) mini chocolate chips


Whisk together mascarpone, honey and espresso until combined.

Spread mascarpone mixture over bagel halves; place on baking sheet. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over bagels. Broil for about 5 minutes or until chocolate is melted.

Tip: You can substitute softened cream cheese or ricotta for the mascarpone if desired.

Tip: Sprinkle with additional espresso powder, if desired.
