The cod fillets are flaked and served with seaweed and mayonnaise for a light healthy sandwich.

POM® Ultra-Soft™ Hot Dog Buns

Ingredients

  • 12 POM® Ultra-Soft™ Hot Dog Buns, Toasted
  • 3 lb (1.4 kg) cod fillets
  • 3 cups (750 mL) shredded lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) chopped tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) mayonnaise
  • 1 package (5 g) shredded or sliced seaweed (Kombu Royal from Gaspesie)

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grate well.
  2. Grill cod for 3 to 5 minutes per side or until just cooked through and starts to flake.
  3. Add shredded lettuce to each bun.
  4. Flake fish evenly into each bun. Garnish with tomatoes, mayonnaise and seaweed.

Tips: If serving for less people, divide accordingly.
Substitute shredded seaweed for sliced Nori sheets, if desired.
