Ingredients

  • 1 package POM® Signature Brioche Pull-Aparts Rolls
  • 2 cups (500 mL) diced tomatoes
  • 1 jalapeno, seeds removed and finely diced
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) diced red onion
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) salt, divided
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped cilantro
  • 1 1/2 lbs (675 g) ground beef
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Tex-Mex seasoning
  • 1 cup (250 mL) queso sauce
  • 2 cups (500 mL) shredded iceberg lettuce

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together tomatoes, jalapeno, onion, lime juice, cilantro and 1 tsp salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together beef, Tex-Mex seasoning, and remaining 1 tsp (5 mL) salt just until combined. Divide into 12 patties, about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick.
  4. Once the grill is hot, cook sliders for 2 – 3 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat nacho sauce until warmed through, 1 – 2 minutes.
  6. Cut sliders in half cross-wise.
  7. To assemble sliders, spread nacho sauce over buns, then top the bottom bun with patty, lettuce, and pico de gallo. Serve any remaining pico de gallo with tortilla chips on the side.
