Ingredients
- 4 POM® Signature The Gold Sausage Buns
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) mayo
- 1 garlic clove, finely grated
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) grainy mustard
- 1 1/2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp each (2 mL) salt and pepper
- 1 cup (250 ml) shredded carrots
- 2 cups (500 mL) loosely packed finely shredded kale
- 2 cups (500 mL) finely shredded green cabbage
- 2 cups (500 mL) finely shredded red cabbage
- 4 garlic smokies
Directions
- Preheat grill to medium-high.
- In a small bowl, stir together the mayo, garlic, and grainy mustard until combined; set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together vinegar, sugar and oil; season with salt and pepper. Add carrots, kale and cabbage, toss to combine, set aside to marinate.
- Grill smokies until lightly charred and cooked through, 5 – 7 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- To assemble, spread garlic aioli over buns, add some slaw, and top with smokies. Serve any remaining slaw on the side.
